As a boutique custom home builder in Houston, casita elevates new construction homes with a unique design vision. Owners Alicia Redman and Oscar Quevedo offer strong experience with home building, interior design and client satisfaction.
Oscar and Alicia began working together in 2015 through their respective companies, GQ Homes and Whitford Studios. Their good rapport and success with customers led them to make the partnership official with the opening of casita in 2020.
Previously, Alicia earned a master’s degree in interior architecture from Pratt Institute in New York City. She later joined an architecture firm in New York where she put her talents to work for three years before returning to Texas. Alicia founded Whitford Studios, an interior design studio, in Austin and eventually returned to Houston where she currently resides with her family.
Oscar brings home building expertise to each project. For more than five years, he has led GQ Homes & Construction, a residential builder throughout greater Houston. Prior to that leadership role, he sharpened his skills and eye for quality while working for other home builders. He lives with his family in Houston’s Lindale Park, where he prides himself on positively impacting his community with beautiful new homes.
